Last spring the Quebec government modified its tobacco laws and with ers (30 fanfare informed everoyne that smoking was now forbidden within 9 meters (30 feet) from many more buildings accessible to the public and not only medical ones (hospitals, clinics, etc).  For example, the 9 meters limit now applies to kindergartens and schools.

It is forbidden by law to smoke in the closed common portion of a syndicate of co-ownership, but you may now choose to build a smoking lounge for those who like to enjoy a good smoke.
